Can I book Château Beauregard directly, without going through Airbnb?
Yes. The château is booked directly with Diane, the owner, by phone on phone or on WhatsApp, or through the Book page, where you choose your dates and extras. By booking directly, you pay no platform commission: the price is the house’s price, nothing more.
Where is Château Beauregard?
In Cléguérec, in the Morbihan, in the centre of Brittany: 10 minutes from Pontivy, 20 minutes from Lake Guerlédan and about 1 hour from the beaches of the Gulf of Morbihan. The Nantes–Brest canal runs 3 km away. See Brittany around the château.
How many people can the château sleep?
Up to 24 guests, in 10 bedrooms over two floors, with 7 bathrooms. Cots, a travel cot and a high chair are available. For a wedding or an event bringing together more people, a €1,000 supplement applies. See the bedrooms.
Is the château rented as a whole or room by room?
Both. The whole château is rented to groups, with its ten bedrooms, sitting rooms, kitchen and 30 acres of grounds. Five rooms with private bathroom and WC are also available on their own as bed & breakfast rooms, breakfast included: Hortensias, Madeleine Ridel, Bouton d’or and La Bleue Azur on the first floor, and the Magellan room on the second, at €125 per night. What are the rates?
The rate depends on the season, the length of stay and the number of guests: the whole château is €1,050 per night, two-night minimum. A bed & breakfast room is €125 per night, breakfast included. Firewood is charged €40 per weekend.
Does the château host weddings and events?
Yes: weddings, birthdays, family reunions, family celebrations and company retreats. For an event bringing together more people than the 24 beds, a €1,000 supplement applies. Every project is discussed with Diane. Find out more.
What is the minimum stay?
Two nights minimum for the whole château, at the weekend or in the middle of the week: two nights from Tuesday to Thursday work just as well as a long weekend or a full week. A bed & breakfast room can be booked from a single night.
Is the château suitable for children?
Yes. A playroom with toys and books, a trampoline, a table-tennis table, football goals and 30 acres of grounds with a pond and woods. Cots, a travel cot, a high chair, children’s tableware and a fireguard are provided. See the play areas.
Are sheets and towels provided?
Sheets and bed linen are provided and the bedding is new. Towels are not provided: please bring your own.
Is there wifi, a television, an equipped kitchen?
Wifi covers the house. There is no television and no air conditioning. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for big gatherings: two dishwashers, gas and induction hobs, oven, large fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and crockery for twenty-five. A barbecue and a fire pit are outside. All the amenities.
Are pets allowed?
Ask Diane when you book: it depends on the animal and the time of year.

How do I get to Château Beauregard?
By car, Cléguérec is 10 minutes from Pontivy, about 1 hour from Lorient, Vannes and Saint-Brieuc, a little under 2 hours from Rennes and Brest. The nearest TGV stations are Saint-Brieuc, Vannes and Lorient; the airports, Lorient, Brest and Rennes. Free parking on the property. See how to get here.
