The château

Granite walls, slate roofs, herringbone parquet and thirty acres of grounds: a family home, out of time.

The house · ground floor

Two sitting rooms, one fireplace

A forty-square-metre entrance hall leads to two open sitting rooms. The main one opens through three tall arched windows onto the grounds: deep sofas, antique rugs, a library and a piano.

The small sitting room, just beyond, is the cosiest room in the house: red walls, bookshelves, leather armchairs and sofas around the fireplace. It catches the afternoon sun and, on winter evenings, the fire brings everyone together.

  • Adjoining small sitting room, with its own fireplace and bookshelves
  • Books and board games for the evenings

At the table

A large dining room and a modern kitchen

The dining room seats fifteen at a single table, beneath its old paintings and beams. In summer, the terrace and the barbecue take over.

Under high ceilings and on the original terracotta floor, the kitchen is equipped to feed twenty-five people with ease: two dishwashers, gas and induction hobs, an oven, a large fridge and crockery for everyone. And if you would rather enjoy your guests, Diane offers a catering option.

The bedrooms

Ten bedrooms with room for everyone

Old parquet floors, tall windows onto the grounds, marble fireplaces: the bedrooms have kept their original proportions and received brand-new bedding. Click on a room to see its photos. Bed linen is provided; please bring your own towels.

Five rooms have their own private bathroom and WC and can also be booked on their own as bed & breakfast rooms: Hortensias, Madeleine Ridel, Bouton d’or and La Bleue Azur on the first floor, and the Magellan room, under the eaves.

  • Terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and fire pit
  • Old greenhouse and beds of rhododendrons
  • Private entrance and free parking
